THANKSGIVING POEM 2015

Father, we thank you we have been set free.

For it is your Son who has set us free.  

He has shown us the truth and now we’re free.

We were slaves to sin, but now we are free.

We give thanks for our land full of freedoms,

While others live in oppressive kingdoms.

We can vote in this coming election,

While many others have no selection.

We are free to worship as we choose,

While others fear that their lives they would lose.

We give thanks that we’re free to gather here,

We pray that to our brothers you’d draw near.
